Common questions
Why do you publish prices when nobody else does?
Because hiding them wastes everyone's time. If your budget is $10,000 and the work costs $60,000, both of us would rather find that out now than after two discovery calls. Published pricing also means we are never tempted to price based on what we guess you can pay.
Is the fixed price really fixed?
Yes, for the scope in the signed statement of work. If we underestimated, we absorb it. The price changes only if you ask for something outside that scope, and only through a change order you approve in writing first.
Why is the Blueprint paid?
Because doing it properly takes two weeks of senior engineering time, and free discovery is always rushed discovery. Charging for it means you get a real investigation instead of a sales exercise — and it is credited in full against your build, so it costs nothing if you proceed.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Projects are milestone-billed — typically 40% to start, 30% at the midpoint and 30% at launch. Larger builds are billed monthly against progress. We are happy to align milestones with your budgeting cycle.
What is your hourly rate?
$165/hour standard, $195/hour for architecture and AI work, $245/hour for emergency work starting within five business days. That said, most engagements are fixed-price — hourly is the fallback, not the default.
Do you work with clients outside Wisconsin?
Yes. About the work, we are location-agnostic and fully set up for remote delivery across the U.S. We simply happen to be in Burlington, and being in the Central time zone means we overlap with everyone.
